hand malformation   Having the privilege to be for three years the President of the International Federation of Societies for Surgery of the Hand which gathers the scientific Societies of 57 countries, I thought that I had to try to be useful for the international community... I decided to devote my time to teach, develop and operate on Congenital Hand Malformations.
After 25 years of Hand Surgery including Congenital Hand Differences, I organize a complimentary program to operate, free of charge, in 11 countries. I realized that I could also help the gynecologist, the foetopathologist, the genetist, the pediatrician, the physiatre, the psychologist and all the professional dealing with Congenital Hand Differences.
I also guess that some family need some counselling about the hand malformation of their baby. This Web-Site is dedicated to the different aspects of Congenital Hand Differences. I have to acknowledge that this site could not exist without the help of a talented surgeon and "computer freak", Dr Giorgio Pivato from Milan who built it entirely between two Hand emergencies.
